HifiMan HE500 headphones that I've modified slightly by removing the original screens and placing a piece of acoustically transparent foam behind the driver. I'll include the original screens in the sale in case you want to replace them. This pair comes with a set of Ether C angled pads and the originals. It also includes a nice aftermarket balanced cable (around 9 feet I think) and a single ended cable. Lightly used and in good condition, one of my favorite headphones but I'm building a turntable and need the funds for that. Shipping only to the U.S right now, no trades please. Price includes PP fees and shipping within the U.S. Please note only the items shown are included in the sale, I don't have the original box or packaging but pack securely. Pads were about $90 and they balanced cable was as well, so this is almost $200.00 of added accessories.

These look like an awesome deal! Would have gladly picked them up had I not just found a pair of HE6se's. I'm curious, where did you get the acoustically transparent foam? Does it stay in place well behind the outer plastic rings?

I got it from Parts Express, they sell it to use as speaker grills. It is pretty much the same as having no grill at all but keeps junk off the back of the driver. I used the original grills as a template and just cut the foam slightly larger. It seems to stay in play fine if I don't handle it too much. I've got a little left over, message me your address and I'll send you enough to make a couple of screens.
