GSX (with MK2 modules) is IMO an upgrade from the current production GSX MK2 for the following reason. Compared to the current production GSX mk2, the original GSX with MK2 modules has greater dynamics and superior soundstage and layering. Compared to the original GSX MK1, the MK2 modules has more power and greater dynamics than MK1. GSX MK1 has slightly brighter tonality but also sweeter and more expansive sound than the stock GSX MKII. Compared to GSX MK2 the GSX MK1 with MK2 module is also less bright at the top.

Given the the original GSX only came with dual 3pin balanced out, I will also include the Black Dragon dual 3pin to 4 pin XLR adapter for modern balanced headphones.
