For your consideration is a Grado SR325X recently bought here on Head Fi but splurged a bit and upgraded to RS1X so don't see the need to have this one not getting used. Have put maybe few hours on the SR325X. It's likely still needs to be broken in before it starts to shine.

The new 325X definitely feels different than the previous gen 325 that I had. First, the cord is beefier and feels a lot sturdier. Bass response is definitely improved over the previous generation (no more that 'flat' feeling). I would keep it but now I have too many Grados.

How can I tell if it's improved? My hands and feet are involuntarily tapping while listening to John Pizzarelli's Live In Birdland album. Setup I am using is Audioquest Dragonfly Cobalt with the 325X.

NOTE: Minor improvements I've added are an adjustable ring which can be slid up or down where the L and R wires converge so that the headphone is more secure if you're moving around. Also couple of velcro ties (removable) so that it's easy to coil up the cords neatly when not in use. I will also throw in a knock off G-cushion.
