I am in two minds about sacrificing these beauties. They are fantastic headphones and I am only putting them up for sale as I recently got the PS2000e. Not itching to sell as I think they would actually complement their bigger brother nicely. Keen to test this out but should a fellow audiophile want these, I am happy to pass them on.
These have been bought in March this year as an ex-display unit and are in excellent condition, no doubt 10/10 both functional and visual. In the photo with the box you can see the "marketing stock" label and the date they have been taken out of the store: "4/11/2020". The seller said they were ex-display and not demo. I don't think they have even been burned in. I have personally used them for about 10 hours.
The earcups are marked PS1000, without the "e" but you can see the red driver in the photos which makes them a PS1000e (the box is also marked with the "e"). I have emailed Grado Labs (US) to check before buying this unit and they confirmed it: "yes, if it has a red painted driver it is a very early "e" series". Please do that yourself as they are very responsive. There is a lot of info online about how Grado had extra PS1000 cups when they upgraded to the 'e' so they put the new drivers in those (appreciate the no-waste attitude).
Buyer to pay for transport. Open to international shipping but the buyer is responsible for additional shipping costs and taxes on their end.
Would prefer to sell but also open to trades to sensible trades.
Any questions, please PM.
