I'm selling a pair of Grado HF-2 headphones, serial number 165. I've been the sole owner of these headphones since purchasing them direct from Todd the Vinyl Junkie (TTVJ) in 2009 and they are in excellent condition. Includes box, and a number of mods I've made to them.

Mods include:
- The original Grado cable has been replaced with a high-quality 1.7 m nylon-sheathed cable. I don't recall the specs of the cable but it's surely audiophile-quality.
- The modded cable has a convenient in-line connector that allows for termination with either a 1/8" gold-plated Switchcraft headphone jack or a 1/4" gold-plated Furutech headphone jack. Again, I chose high-quality connectors.
- The headband has been replaced with a JMoney headband which features a bit more padding.
- The ear cups are Sennheiser yellows, the original Grado ear cups having disintegrated some years back.

All original Grado cables and the headband are included (along with the original Grado 1/4" to 1/8" cable convertor), along with the original receipt from TTVJ.

I'm selling these because my hobbies have shifted focus and I don't spend as much time with my headphone collection as I used to - I really hope that these HF-2s can find a new happy home with someone who will give them the attention they deserve!
