For sale is a Focal Utopia 2022 headphone with less than 5 hours total use. The underlying story is I purchased these headphones on head-fi on October 22, 2023 from a trusted individual seller, who was selling them new, only having taken them out of their box to photograph. I purchased them to complement my Susvara’s that I listen to on my Woo Audio 33 headphone amp. Unfortunately for me I find that I am sensitive to the low level background hiss (between tracks), exhibited by the Utopia’s, which is barely there, if at all, with my Susvara’s. I decided that in light of not listening to the Utopia, it was best that I simply sell them. Notwithstanding the hiss from my headphone amp, they are an outstanding headphone! The buyer will receive everything included with the headphone when sold new, and they will be shipped in the original Focal cardboard box.
