managed to piece this gen 5 classic back together and finally get iTunes to recognize the thing, it then is no longer compatible w/ anything I do with it on my mbp 2011 running high sierra. put in disk mode got some music on it that way then nothing it does nothing now. anyone here familiar w/ them can take a look maybe confirm it will work with a another windows or Mac computer.
fresh iflash, battery, msata, cable. dm if interested
