Empire Ears Legend X earphones. These are the Hong Kong version of the earphone in which the earphones are a different colour and the bass is described as being slightly retuned compared to the original Legend X. This version is much the same as the limited SE edition apart from the logo on the earpiece. The SE version was a run of 100 units which replicated this Hong Kong version.

At the heart of these earphones are 5 balanced amature drivers which take car eof the mids and highs but the star of the earphones are the 2 x W9 subwoofer drivers in each earpiece. These earphones are a bass lovers dream, there is a real depth to these that I've not heard elsewhere. Where they doffer though compared to other bass driven earphones is that they have excellent detail in the mids and highs with no bass bleeding into the mids.

These come boxed with all tips and also come with a good quality Effect Audio cable.

These were very well reviewed on release and despite being released 4 years ago the Legend X (non HK verison) still retial new for around £2400.

This set is around 18 months old and in excellent condition.
