I find myself listening less and less to my electrostatic setup these days, favoring my dynamic setup (Atrium & JAR800S + DNA Stratus & Glenn OTL, for reference) so I think I'll downsize my electrostatic amp to the modded 006t I have in storage and seek out a 300B amp dynamic instead.

I mention my dynamic gear to give an idea as to the playing field this amp is on. I once had a Mjlonir Carbon and sold it because I preferred this Electra. It's got all the strengths of electrostatics but with a strong tube sound, one that changes with the tubes I've rolled. I have owned it for 2 years now, and when I got it I had it serviced by a professional and took the opportunity to convert one of the 2 Pro bias sockets to a Normal bias socket, so this amp works with both Pro and NB ear speakers. In my opinion, this amp drives the SR-007 mk1 well, and drives my ES-1a (also for sale) well, too.

A note on tubes:
At asking price, I will include:

• a quad of the stock Tung-Sol EL34s
• 2 pairs of stock Tung-Sol 6SN7s (note that you do not need a quad of 6SN7s and I found it best to mix NOS and new production, for some reason).

I am willing to offer a good deal on upgraded tubes for this. I rolled a lot of tubes with this, and my favorites were the following:

6SN7
For whatever reason I found the best combo to be a pair of Psvane CV181-t mkii's coupled with a pair of NOS Sylvania's. LinLai 6SN7s also sounded good as did Psvane UK-6SN7. I will sell the CV181-t mkii’s for $85 for the pair and I have many others, including vintage options, if you’re interested. Again, you do not need a quad of the 6SN7s and I recommend different combos, and rotating between the front pair and the back pair.

Re: Pics, the first images show the amp tube-less, the later pics show it with my preferred tubes (quad of the 6CA7-TII mk2, a pair of CV181-t's and a pair of NOS Sylvania's.
