After previously owning the Denon AH-D9200s, I hadn’t expected to love the Denon AH-D7200 as much as I do. I don’t have both to compare against each other but I might actually consider the AH-D7200 a better headphone because it isn’t as sibilant. I’m selling this because I just got the 7200 out of curiousity from another head-fier recently when someone mentioned they liked it better than the 9200.
Things of note:
- Absolutely lovely bass, imaging, and soundstage (for a closed back)
- The cord is becoming a bit frayed and a bit kinked in some places
- The pads have some wear
- The original box has some dings and scratches
Price includes PayPal fees and shipping in the continental USA. Check my feedback! At less than half the price of the 9200, it’s a good way to explore the Denon high-end closed back sound signature.
