I sold my PS Audio DirectStream after auditioning this and the guy I bought it from liked it better than his modded DirectStream.
He upgraded to the Terminator and I have moved up to the Venus II.I found the Pontus II more detailed, with tighter bass and yet just as smooth as the DirectStream.
Excellent USB implementation, nearly, or as good
as the i2s interface.
