Up for sale is my Denafrips Ares II DAC that has been babied since day 1. No need to tell you more about the quality of this DAC. It has been the more significant upgrade in my setup. R2R DACs have that magic that cannot be described. The DAC is in excellent condition, like new.
IMPORTANT remark: I have tried recently to use USB input but did not succeed. It could probably be a driver issue or something else. Playing music through SPDIF works flawlessly though and gives amazing sound. Most people (including me) believe that the sound out of SPDIF is better than USB. So if you will use it with SPDIF, you will not be affected and you will have the opportunity to buy an amazing DAC at low price. Please note that Vinshine and myself should not be held responsible to fix USB issue. The unit is also not under warranty anymore
Because of USB issue, I am asking for 500 euros net for me. A bargain! No additional customs fees if sold in Europe (I'm based in Belgium)
