If you don't know anything about this dac/amp it's an incredibly versatile source, allows you to run multiple inputs into it and outputs them all to the headphone/speaker/line out ports. So you can do stuff like run audio from a game console or audio interface into it and get all those sources from a single output, essentially acting like a little mixer. It's a great little combo unit and works great as a standalone DAC as well, that's how I used it
