Immaculate Cary SLP 05 Ultimate Tube Preamp / Headphone Amp, silver face, for sale (no WBT upgrade). No scratches, no dust, no blemishes. Like new. Taken out of the box and out of shrink wrap on 2/24/23 (see pic) and put on my stand, not moved since then, protected by a custom cover when not in use. Used sparingly for a year, now replaced by a very expensive Lampizator Dac with Preamp, I sadly can't afford to keep both and it probably doesn't make sense to have two preamps in the same chain. I love this Cary and will regret this sale....

This perfect Cary comes with all original packaging, accessories, 8 original un-used tubes, an extra third box (local pick-up would be preferred, though), 8 socket savers, umbilical cord, and the custom-made cover. The original remote control is also unused as I programmed the key codes into a universal remote control. I purchased this Cary from an Audiogon member who had it sitting around brand new sealed for 18 months, never unpacked, as his plans changed. So, I am the original user. New price is $9,291 for the ultimate edition.

For an extra $300 I will make 6 recently purchased NOS 1950 RCA GTB 6SN7 Black Plates with square getters available as well as 2 Linlai tubes for the headphone stage (as seen in the pics). The RCA tubes are not broken in, but they do sound better to me than the original tubes by quite a large margin.
