Selling this almost brand new Streamer/DAC from Cambridge Audio, the MXN10.
I upgraded to this from the WiiM Pro because the WiiM Pro constantly dropped the Wi-Fi connection and I did not like the WiiM app (sorry, but I hated that thing). The WiiM is built to Chi-fi spec, while CA is made in England. You pay for the quality difference and it is very palpable in the build and the user experience.
The WiFi connection on the Cambridge Audio is outstanding, rock solid. It’s never dropped once. It does also have an Ethernet port if you prefer.
It has Tidal, Qobuz and Spotify Connect built in, Roon Ready with Roon Multi-room, Apple Airplay 2 and Chromecast. I used all of the above except Spotify and it’s super easy to use all, I have no tech savvy and it just worked.
You can leave it on in a cabinet, it goes to sleep automatically and instantly starts up with a quick click on the app. The app experience is very good. Nothing like WiiM.
The internal DAC uses the ESS SABRE ES9033Q, or you can bypass it to your independent DAC with Optical or Coax. I used both and they sound equivalent to me. Analog out is via RCA.
I will cover PP and shipping costs. Condition is mint, no sign of use. I got this in May.
