This is a Brimar (STC) CV1988 (6SN7GTY). These are rare and exceedingly expensive now. It tests within NOS range on an AVO unit:
Valve 1: A1 8.3 2.7
A2 9.2 2.8
AVO NOS Specs: IA = 9.0 GM = 2.9
This tube is overall the best input tube I have heard in the Teton. It has technicalities on par with the 6SN7W short bottle, but with midrange euphony more resemblant of the TS BGRP.
Only looking for trades for an ecc32 that tests VG to NOS, simply because I'm obsessed with mids and would like to trade away a little technicalities for an even more forward midrange.
Not interested in cash offers but would also consider negotiating a trade for a GEC U52 or Bendix Slotted 6080WB.
