Sold: beyerdynamic DT 990 Edition (aka Premium) 250 Ohm - rare blue version with detachable cable

This blue version is rather hard to find, plus it has a detachable cable mod. Comes with a set of alternate pads and an aftermarket cable.

Unfortunately, it is not in the best condition. I received it this way and am merely passing it on.

There is a rattling in the left driver. (And a slight rattle in the right driver.)

The previous owner said it would only happen with bassy music, but it occurs more frequently for me. I suspect that hair is causing it (I experienced similar rattling with Koss headphones and it was resolved by removing the hair)...but I'm not sure, because it's difficult to fully open and examine. It's possible that you could simply remove hair from the drivers...but another possibility is that you would need to buy new drivers.

For what it's worth, I can enjoy music just fine with these headphones...but the rattling can be annoying.
