The unit is 100% functional and has been upgraded to the most recent software and firmare.
Due to its age, there will be minor scratches here and there. The previous owner tried to touch marked it, but looks unsuccessful. The top plate is replacable and can be purchased on Benchmark website, but IMO it's not very necessary if you stack the unit with a DAC3 or put it on a shelf/rack. It's in good shape overall.
I also have a DAC3 HGC on sale and they are a perfect combo. I can give you some discount if you buy them together. My asking price includes PayPal fee and shipping cost.
