I have a 13 month old Benchmark HPA4 that I bought from Benchmark directly. It is the best preamp for 2 channel I have ever owned (I owned some very expensive peamps) and a great headphone amp for my Meze Empy.
I no longer have the Meze Empy and I have a new CODA 07x peamp because I needed 2 sets of XLR outputs. The CODA is connected to Benchmark AHB2 amps and a Class D amp at the same time (no cable connecting and disconnecting needed). Since these amps are hooked up at the same time it is easy for me to switch between the SR1a and the 2 channel floor stander. The HPA4 does not have this feature so I do not use the HPA4 anymore.
I have marked the HPA4 as GOOD condition because of a scuff mark on the edge of the front. The photo will show this up close. I did not by a remote for this unit but that can be bought from the Benchmarkmedia.com website for $100.
