The cables are in excellent condition. The RCA plugs look new and if I remember correctly the Music Room told me that there had been new plugs installed recently.
Audioquest's senior staff maintain that this is far superior to Fire. I haven't heard Fire but I can't imagine it beats this cable which retailed for $8,500. Dead quiet with a black background and dynamic. Just spectacular.
No carrying case, just the cables.
