Early in my headphone journey, one of the first headphones I bought was an Audioquest Nighthawk Carbon, and I sent many hours luxuriating in its cozy warmth, and I didn't think things could get any better. I ended up selling that Nighthawk (if memory serves, I upgraded to a Madhouse Argon Mk3) and always wished I hadn't sold it. So I recently bought an as-new Nightowl (Nightowl is the closed back variant of the Nighthawk) to see if I could rekindle that nostalgia.

Anyways, I'm glad I tried it out, but these are a catch-and-release for me. They are like new and come with everything a new one came with, as per the pictures. They're warm and initially feel kind of closed in, but over several minutes, the subterranean caves kind of open up and you can live in nightowl territory. Very unique experience.
