Selling my ATH-SX1. These have seen a lot of use on my end, serving as my laptop headphones for a number of years. There is considerable wear to the headband padding and a spot on the bottom of the headband where the internal foam is poking out a little bit. The earpads were replaced recently and are in good shape. The SX1 has a bit of a cult following in Japan, not unlike the Sony CD900ST although the latter is more popular. These are very comfortable headphones with a soft but clear and articulate sound and they have a distinctly 'n-shaped' frequency response, kind of like portable, softer sounding ATH-W1000. Note that these terminate in a 1/4" jack so you will need a 1/8" male adapter to use these with a portable device. My asking price includes Paypal service fees and USPS Priority Mail shipping.
