For your consideration is an Audio-Technica A900X that has been detachable-cable modded using dual 3.5mm connectors to allow for connection to either single-ended or balanced amplifiers, whichever is desired. This has been wired such that it will work with any dual-3.5mm cable that is designed for Hifiman headphones like the Sundara. As such, an extremely wide variety of ready-made and easily-accessible cables from all price ranges will work.
This was modded by myself using custom-designed 3D-printed parts and gold-plated 3.5mm connectors. I've posted about the mod on Head-Fi before:

This was one of my favorite headphones for a long time until I got my E-Mu Teaks. Great bass extension cable of plenty of thump with crisp, energetic highs. Most of my listening to this headphone was done with Brainwavz XL round hybrid pads, but I recently fitted them with a brand-new pair of Brainwavz XL perforated pads.
I find that the perforated pads rein in the bass a little bit (with the hybrids it tended to be a little boomy at times), while adding a little bit more airiness to the highs and adding a bit more width to the soundstage. I am only providing the perforated pads, as my hybrids have a fair amount of wear, whereas the perforated pads have maybe an hour of head-time, tops, and are very much like new.
Thanks for looking!
Wiring details: The 3.5mm connectors on each cup are wired with Tip being positive, Ring being unused, and Sleeve being negative. This is the same way Hifiman wires their dual-3.5mm headphones, so any dual-3.5mm cable intended for Hifiman headphones will work as intended on this headphone.
