I have a pair of the original Audio-Technica ATH-A900 for sale.

This was one of my first entry to the head-fi community back in 2012. They were purchased from Amazon. I have used them for less than a year before I couldn't resist to explore other headphones. I have not used them for the past few years and they have been kept in pretty much the same condition as the day I got them. I can't see any blemish or dent on the ear cups and the cable is till in pristine condition. I rated them 'good' due to the age but they still look quite nice.

The stock ear pads started to crack a year ago so recently I replaced them with the genuine A2000X pads shipped from Japan. The A2000X pads improved the clarity of the sound noticeably.

The A900 sounded better than M50x to me. They have very good sound stage. The vocals and treble are much more smoother than the M50x. The bass is good and not booming. They are also more comfortable than the M50X. The A900 would be a great entry-level closed back headphones.
