Some relevant information for anyone interested in this particular pair of MX4.

I bought these headphones and will be returning them to the seller for the following reasons:

1. Their condition is far from "Excellent/Like new" as advertised. They have a lot of paint chips, marks and scratches all over (most of the imperfections can be seen from the photos attached).
2. Seller sent the case without any outer box whatsoever. The whole case was covered in shipping stickers, had multiple scratches and one of the hinges was broken.
3. The earpads were greasy (and still are) and haven't been cleaned before shipping (or perhaps never been cleaned at all).
4. When I confronted the seller about the stuff above, he was extremely arrogant, didn't take any responsibility whatsoever, accused me of being "paranoid" and in general his attitude was totally inappropriate. He even accused me of trying to "squeeze some euros", when I didn't even ask about a partial refund. Here are some quotes:
- "that's what the case is for" (about why he didn't use any simple cardboard outer box)
- "these chips are millimeters wide"
-"do you expect 4 year headphones to be completely new" (when they are advertised as excellent/like new)
- "use wet cloth" (when confronting him about pads being greasy)
- "we are not ****ing Amazon that you can get something and if you don't like it for some insane reason you simply return it"

It's a first for me encountering such personality here in head-fi, so be aware of that. Having said that, he did refund me and will also cover the return costs, so I'll be shipping them back tomorrow and they (as he said) will be for sale again. Just be aware of what exactly you are buying and what kind of person you are dealing with, so you don't end up disappointed as I was.

Last but not least, as he didn't close the listing after I bought the headphones (according to him because he "had a weird feeling" due to me insisting to use PayPal Goods&Services instead of Friends&Family), I cannot leave him the feedback he deserves. This, in my opinion, is a flaw in the new classifieds section, that should be fixed asap.

I didn`t see this before now. But I tried bying these, I was the buyer who "bailed". The seller shipped them, but according to the mail carrier, they never even left his country and was stuck in customs. The customs returned them to him, because of a lack of papers (possibly invoice, not shure).

To me he claimed that they where stuck in the norwegian customs, and he demanded me paying for the shipping costs. I was stupid enough to pay with PP F&F and since my money was at his account, I paid him the money for shipping to get him to return my money (he wrote that he couldn`t give my a partial refund). In the end I ended up loosing around 30 EUR with the headphones not even leaving his country.

To me he also was arrogant and little pleasant to deal with.
