I am regretfully selling this MM-500 because I will attend the Chicago CanJam in a week, and I'm sure that I'll come home with some new headphones, so the old ones need to go. The MM-500 is by far the best headphone I've ever owned and for $1000, I don't believe you could buy a better headphone. This is especially true because it doesn't need a powerful amplifier. The recommended power level given by Audeze is only 250 mw and mine sounds amazing from a Magni.

The condition is very good, except for a tiny area on the left rear yoke edge where the paint has worn off. The paint is gray and the metal beneath is gray, so it's barely visible - I only noticed when taking photos today. I'd be happy to take videos or facetime to answer questions or demonstrate the headphone's condition.

I set this price lower than I've ever seen an MM-500 be sold for, so I hope it can go to a good home quickly. Shipping to CONUS is included which will cost me at least $25, so the actual price to you is even lower. The price is already very low, so any lowball offers will be ignored. However, if you can pick it up in person at the Chicago CanJam this weekend I can give a small additional discount.
