I am selling my Audeze LCDi3 planar magnetic IEM's. I LOVE these IEM's - tonally, dynamically, texturally, they do it all, and their sound stage is unbelievably holographic and deep. Imagine first rate, open-back, planar magnetic headphones in a featherweight form factor, and you've got an idea what these are like. Rave reviews are all over the 'net.
Why am I selling? I have too many headphones and IEM's and these aren't getting enough use to justify keeping them, especially since I want to use the sale proceeds to fund another project. Plus, with the used Dan Clark Aeon 2's that I picked up here on Head-fi, they've become redundant in my collection.
These are in near-mint condition. The rubber-like coating on one pair of the replaceable ear hooks has rubbed off, but there are plenty of unused hooks included. Any silicone ear tips or ear wings that I've used will be thoroughly cleaned and sterilized in alcohol before shipping.
The IEM's come with full retail packaging, including the carrying case, cleaning tool, shirt clip, etc. Cabling included the Apple Lightning CIPHER cable with built-in DSP, the CIPHER Bluetooth cable (also with DSP) for wireless connection to any Bluetooth-enabled device, and a standard audio plug terminated cable.
