Sold: Audeze LCD-5 with Sound Approach (Mitch Barnett) Convolution/FIR Filter

These LCD-5 are in excellent condition and were thoroughly tested and cleaned before listing. I am the original owner and purchased new from Headphones.com; I will include the original paper receipt as well as the digital receipt. The headband is the wider version that became available after the initial release. The certificate of authenticity has a date of 11/18/2021 and the drivers are covered under warranty for 3 years. The cable is in like new condition since I only use these with another custom cable. After my first listening session, I swapped out the leather strap with a ZMF co-pilot pad that I stitched together and modified so that it bolts to the headband with the original bolts that hold the leather strap. I left the co-pilot pad on in the photos but I can easily swap it out for the leather strap (which is basically new) if you prefer it ship that way, but the co-pilot pad is significantly more comfortable in my opinion so I left it on for now.

I use the convolution filter with Roon but it can be applied through any program that applies convolution/FIR filters such as Foobar2000 and Equalizer APO. This filter really showcases the midrange of the LCD-5 and is definitely worth the $200 purchase price.

Selling these since I am moving at the beginning of next year and decided to use this as an opportunity to downsize my extensive audio collection. I will be living with my girlfriend so I figured that I would sell some of my flagship headphones to put the funds toward upgrading my speaker system. I will be traveling out of the country on October 1st so I priced these to sell before then since I will be busy until I move. I have a few other listings and will offer a discount if purchasing multiple items that I have for sale. All of the gear for sale was tested and cleaned before listing.

I am located in Asheville, NC and would prefer an in-person sale if possible and can adjust the price accordingly. Due to a recent bad international shipping experience, shipping is only available to buyers located in the mainland U.S. I am retired so I am available any time of the day to answer questions or send additional photos or videos. Since there have been some fraudulent posts using photos from other classified listings, I 3d printed a placard with my username and the date that the photos were taken.
