So I traded some obscure good condition headphones for these. The trader sent bad quality pictures and wasn’t clear on condition. They are a little dinged here and there but sound fantastic. I really love the sound and was thinking of sending them to Audeze for a refresh, headband, pads, and whatever else they can do. However, as I mention in all my posts , financials have changed and I have to let some things go.

I don’t know what wood they are, what year, I don’t see any serial numbers. They are fazer models. The headband and case lead me to believe they are several years old at least. Let me point out the imperfections.

First thing is the screws in the adjustment block stick out a bit. They are secure and don’t come lose, but clearly have been through some sort of modification. There is another adjustment block and another set of screws included.

Secondly the set screw for the gimbal on the backside of the left cup wiggles and can come out of the cup if you pull it. It doesn’t come out during normal use, putting the cans on and off , taking off the headphone stand etc. It's in place enough to not be a problem.

Third is the cup condition, a few knicks and scratches, as pictured.

Oh and the included cable feel like rope. I used my hart audio cables

Overall, none of this affects day to day use but I don’t want anyone to be as surprised as I was upon receiving them. It wasn't a good felling. However, once I put them through the first listening session, all was forgiven in my mind. So ultimatley, I'm taking a decent loss on these, but i want to be transperant. I tried to take good pics of things mentioned above and price accordingly. I think if you ok with a “fair” condition headphone you can try out this classics for cheap.
