I'm the original owner (purchased in 1992/1993), of these K340 headphones. I had them modded by Larry at Headphile about 15 years ago. The mods include a 6 foot Black Top cable with dual entry into the ear cups and a 4 pin male balanced XLR connector, new elastics, modified circuit and driver and the inner plastic driver cover was replaced by a transparent cloth material. As you can see from the pictures, the pads are in like new condition. I did not purchase the wood side covers because I wanted to keep the stock appearance. I have the original box (not in very good condition but the internal packing is in excellent condition. I intended to hold on these headphones forever but I've hardly used them since I have 5 TOTL headphones in my collection. I have excellent feedback here on Headfi, US Audio Mart and Audiogon.
