I used this with my iDSD BL and it made a huge difference. Surely, even the iDSD Signature people would notice a similar difference. I just think they don't understand this product. For those reading this, it increases the sound stage and imaging drastically. And it really smoothed out any residual graininess. It took the iDSD BL up a whole level. Buying this unit used for $180 Euros....you could never upgrade your iDSD Signature a whole level for this money. Here's an article explaining it:

Interesting thoughts about this iGalvanic.

Now I regret putting it up for sale, perhaps I will keep it instead since if I plan to buy it once again in the near future used, it most likely be much more expensive.

Yes, it will. Some DACs will benefit more than others. But Galvanic Isolation really is a thing. All high-end DACs have it. Few midrange DACs are galvanically isolated.

I dont remember if the iUSB 3.0 has galvanic isolation as well but when I use it in conjunction with the Signature and connected to my phone, I can hear a difference but in the way of the iUSB making the sound more organic and dark whereas when I connect it directly to my phone using the golden iFi short cable, the sound is clearer and softer to my ears.

I would like to know if using a more expensive cable when connecting the iGalvanic to the PC actually has an audible improvement because if I am not mistaken Mr. Thorsten said it would not matter much but everyone's setup, ears... are not the same.

I can answer that question. No, the iUSB 3.0 DOES NOT have galvanic isolation. iFi Audio recommended both (iUSB 3.0 + iGalvanic 3.0) if you really, really, really, wanted to end all the gremlins. Now for the digital cable: Yes, it will. I did this experiment for myself. There are two legs from the PC to the iGalvanic and from the iGalvanic to the DAC. I was originally only using the blue printer quality cables because I didn't believe there was much difference. I ordered the Pangea USB cables of two different qualities: low and medium cost. In the end, I wound up ordering both legs with the medium expensive cables and it was a very nice upgrade. The difference is akin your USB3.0 in your chain. Cheaper stuff is just as clear. They sound absolutely the same in terms of dynamics and frequency response and width of sound stage. Where more expensive USB cables come into play is with the DEPTH of sound stage. Somehow, although not measurable, the human ears can tell the difference in USB cables if you know what to listen for. Pangea makes 2 or 3 levels of USB cable I think I went with the PREMERE SE MARK II at the link below. What a freaking bargain. I would not spend more than this however. BTW, I used a 2Meter and a 1Meter USB cable with my iGalvanic of the model in the link below. Happy listening.

BTW, there are expensive USB cables that are not designed well and still have the flat sound stage. Cost is no guaranty of quality. Design is. Pangea Premier SE Mk II is designed correctly to yield this depth of sound stage. I can confirm that with my own ears and tests. I cannot speak to other cables. The Pangea is so, so, reasonable of a cost.

Oh shoot, I just realized you're in the UK. I'm sure they have retailers there that sell Pangea stuff. FYI, Pangea Audio's Premier SE MKII USB cable featuring the highest purity 6% silver-plated Cardas Grade One Copper for the vital signal conductors.
