We had a bit of a flood at my house -- creek rose, pump failed, water backed up and came in under a sliding glass door. Quite expensive to repair, and while our flood insurance will reimburse much of that ... eventually, they don't seem to be in any hurry. So, a bit of financial distress motivates me to finally list my Gumbys for sale. Since I got my TT2, they have barely been turned on, and I don't foresee that changing. I'm the second owner of each of these DACs.
To be clear, the DACs were nowhere near the flood, which left about 3 inches of water in our downstairs -- the DACs were (and still are) upstairs.
Here's the deal, I bought an A2 Gumby (used, from a seller on that other site) a while ago. But then I got sucked into the '...A2 is so much better! No! A1 is better' argument. And there was a used A1 out there for a reasonable price and ... now I have one of each
I'm trying to sell them both, and I'd be happy if I could sell both to one buyer who would also like to compare them, keeping one and passing the other along to another grateful audiophile.
But if nobody wants to do that, I'll take offers for each of them individually with the understanding that I'll wait a week to see if the '...I want to try both...' guy shows up.
As always, my prices are net to you, meaning the fees and shipping/insurance come out of my end.
I'll post pics tonight, but both show only normal wear. Both are functionally perfect. Also, both are USB 5, not Unison, which didn't matter to me since I've been feeding them either coax or optical.
