I've noticed that the ATC HDA-P1 has exactly the same specs as the XD-05 , same DAC chip, same output power, same weird USB slot, same physical appearance... it's a re badge. Just a heads up incase they ever run out of the XDuoo & someobeody wants an alternative.

Hi, i've just bought it from Gearbest at 150$, i will use it to drive HD600 and in the future the HE-400i,
could someone please tell me the right cable to use to connect my Fiio x3 2gen by the coax out (i think it could be the best way...),
a shopping link will be usefull!
I'm confused around 3 or 4 pole 3.5mm...
Happy listening to everyone!!!!

I think the 4-pole plug is what you need:

Yeah that's the part, be careful it's eBay!
I bought them from an element14 retail website for ₹241 per part. I suggest you too buy from a genuine source

Thanks for the advice. I've bought one of the LME op amps that you reviewed and now I have a question that almost certainly suggests I'm about to attempt something that I don't have the knowledge to even try... How do I know which way round it goes?! Is there an obvious marker to line up, because the pins are symmetrical?!

So yesterday i traded my fiio x3-2 for XD-05 with v5i installed... Sound is better than X3-2 for sure! But not better than my ibasso DX80... (that's with the DT-770 80ohm)
For example there is a clear difference in Guano Apes - Rain. With the DX-80 i can hear the texture of her voice! Where with the XD-05 her voice sounds flat and a bit more far away.
My cons: Upper mids and highs sometimes are a bit too much on XD-05.
My pros: Lots of air and wide soundstage. I love the bass boost feature for EDM.
And can i make it play APE files ? :D

So i like the device overall, but this mild sibilance of v5i that imran27 noticed and i did as well, kills me off... Can you guys recommend another opamp that has wide sound-stage but less harsh highs?
Lows do not bother me much. I'm big fan of ibasso DX80 sound, so maybe towards that ? :D

I listened to my friend's mojo today in comparison with my XD-05 (v5i). For me, mojo is a well-prepared omelet from a french chef, and xd-05 is the steak wagyu that aunty Maggie was cooking in the school canteen. :)
Mojo: simple, but tasty and nice.
Xduoo: a lot, but clumsy and sloppy.
IMHO, the mojo recipe is more correct for its class (portable), but here is the price.
With xduoo i liked more of minimal techno and the rest of the electronics.
I get nice vocals from xduoo only from my dx80 lineout, otherwise they sound like sandpaper (especially with fiio f9).
Listened with: dt-770 80ohm, hdj-2000, pinnacle p1, fiio f9, monk plus.
XD-05 play's exactly for its price. No more or less. :)
