I have a few list of iems I am curious what they sound like

JVC gummy

Sony MDREX15LP

JVC marshmallow

Sony xbah1

I know some of these iems are very cheap and I can just go out and buy it but I don't wanna buy it just to listen to it and return it.

well im writing whilst listening to the sony mdrex15lp. its the replacement for the mdrex10, which if you look it up is something of a gem on head-fi. from what i can tell in the reviews for the mdrex10 they sound roughly similar, i.e.stunning at this price point. Bass is probs most prominent part of the earphone (not to say that its is excessively boomy), but mids and highs are quite detailed in their own right. The only noticeable difference between the 15s and the 10s is that they isolate better - much, much better in fact. good for the commute. All you need to know is that I'm quite happy listening to these as a stand-in for my shure se215, which is currently waiting for a replacement cable.
