Hey guys i was just doing a bit of window shopping on bh photo video and found out sennheiser just updated their hd25 line with new classic, light and plus models. The light is basically a new hd 25 sp, the classic is meant to be an updated hd 25-1 ii and the plus is meant to be the hd 25-1 ii with supposedly more accessories.
 
More importantly the new line is quite a bit cheaper than the old models they are meant to replace (i think) cos the classic is only 150 usd whereas the old hd25-1 ii is 250 usd on the site.

Interesting. Taking it back to lower price is good I guess.  I wonder if they're still made in Ireland? Found the press release: http://en-us.sennheiser.com/news-sennheiser-hd-25

Personally, I hate all change and now am worried if I should buy a spare pair of the older model just in case....

It would be really sweet if they did a model with cups that rotate flat.
