Since you're sensitive to upper mid and treble sibilance, have you considered the Volume's goth-sibling, the Twilight? It's my favorite warm IEM that doesn't make vocalists sound like they're singing from under a heavy blanket.
This is one of the tracks I use for testing vocal sibilance. I also use the 10sec mark to test mid bass impact, but pretty much the first minute is very electrifyingly sparkly between the female and male vocalists. The Twilight is my least sparkly IEM with this track.

Interesting to note that AFUL is employing some exotic tech once again in the Explorer, but of course, the proof is in the pudding for how it actually sounds in the ears.
Indeed man, I loved the MagicOne and P8 so far, now i have some good thoughts about this one. I will be getting one of these.
Makes me wonder, when is the DUNU DaVinci coming out? I adored that IEM at the CJ SG. And also waiting for the Eminent Ears Ruby, want to buy that one as well.

Just saw Jaytiss reupload video popping up on my feed. What with the drama
No drama here.
Edit "Plunge" audio. What a strange name
Edit 2: That unity IEM has an interesting graph. Hopefully they will do an Aussie tour one day. I do like some very divisive IEMs so I'm curious to see how I go with this one.
I was informed that the sample would depart Dunu on 15/05. Maybe the IEM comes late May or early June?
It's good to see Dunu Vulkan having a new life with a new tuning and shell design. I'm sure it's going to be a good IEM (like any respectable new IEM in that bracket)

There are surprising few IEMs with this color scheme? Though I will say even though there is some (Head-Fi members) shock as to the retail, it is actually less money than I thought it would be. Plus people cane sign-up for a Email VIP pricing which will save a little too.
I simply thought it would be more money due to the pricing of the last TOTL $2499.00 Impact IEM? Yet this price is very competitive and considering the Volt was/is $799.00 and came out way back in October of 2020...........which is a lifetime in IEM years!
