I was recently testing quarter wavelength resonant tubes to see how they would work in headphones. Measurements were done at 90 db at 1 kHz. 3,2 and 1 tubes were tested against no tubes. I didn´t try to get perfect seal because it didn´t affect midrange measurements. Saves some time. Tube length was 16 mm which is quarter of 5359 Hz wavelength. It seems to work almost as expected. Affected frequency seems to be shifted slightly. Blutak is propably taking away some of effective length. That may explain why it affects 6500 Hz area. I have not yet tested these tubes inside earcup. Hopefully this is useful to you all

25ohm 480 with the white donut. / 200ohm 480 with yaxi. Pads used at the moment 1540 alcantaras on the 480s. EDT100 also good option, moreso than 150 pads now.
