With Audirvana and UAP support I resolved the issue regarding the malfunction of the transport progress bar which does not respond to the command when using UPnP and they contacted Chord support who took care of the problem, I hope they have solved it

This crucial firmware update will migrate units to an all-new server which is imperative in ensuring continued smooth operation for your device in the future.

A new server? Sounds promising for the future; similar to the 2Go update.

I was wondering the same thing. Not sure I would like a device that somehow required an internet server to function properly. Updates seem like the only logical use.

I was assuming that Poly is already a server and this was an update to the server.

Optimistically I see a new server as something you can more easily update (with your permission to update) and stops the blockage people have been complaining about the current process.

Yes, that will be it. The amazing new server will be a cost saving exercise, somebody please try and convince me otherwise.

My question was referring to the type of connection between your phone and the Poly, do you let your phone act as a hotspot and connect the Poly to it or do you set the Poly to hotspot mode?

I use my phone (Pixel 8 Pro) as a hotspot and use the Go figure app to connect the Poly to the hotspot. I am then able to use Mconnect to access Qobuz/Tidal or my folders on my SD Card.

If I know I am going out I enable the hotspot on my phone before starting the Chord/Poly

Anybody having trouble with the new firmware update? After updating to v3.2.4 BubbleUPnP (and other apps) aren't able to see my Poly anymore in WiFi mode. It's being recognized by GoFigure but that's about it, can only play music through bluetooth currently & hotspot mode.

Try reindexing your SD card

Nothing so far, though I've just been using it to stream Classic FM via the radio function

by 'new server' i'm pretty sure they mean that the server address, which has been disignupdate.com, will be changed to another one.(or maybe it's not even that, but just a certificate update?) nothing that would impact you locally.

It works for me using SD cards, without any formatting by me, so I assume that the default formatting is fine.
