Bowers & Wilkins C5 or P7
The P7's were a bit disappointing initially. During the demo they sounded fantastic. I can now say that picking the P7 over all the portables was the best choice I have made in a while. I am now hoping to get the FiiO X5! They also clamp initially, but now they are extremely comfortable! Also to...- H6916

After using them after 3 days. They suddenly improved in sound quality, and this could only be a good thing! The sound was already incredible, and now it is still improving gradually; it has become so much more engaging and fun to listen to. Also, I am certainly getting the FiiO X5 with the...- H6916

Rank the Headphones that You Own.
A Non-audiophile Ranking 1. B&W P7: Great and stylish headphones. Unbelievable clarity, the bass is accurate and is also extremely comfortable to wear for long durations. Tested the Sennheiser Momentums, Beyerdynamic T1p, KEF M500 and Sony MDR-7520; the B&W P7 beats all of them. I cannot...- H6916

Audeze Headphones Available For Demonstration | London, UK
So happy with my purchase. The staff at Custom Cable were gregarious and helpful. They managed to find me the right headphones, and I was pleasantly suprised at how phenomenal the B&W P7 was! With the being said, I wouldn't recommend going anywhere else in London; Barlett and Superfi will not...- H6916

Audeze Headphones Available For Demonstration | London, UK
Hey Phil. I am coming soon to visit the store in the near future, and I really cannot wait. I want to find the easiest route to get to the store, but it seems that I might have to take the DLR from London. I wish there was a Hi-Fi store in North London. *Sigh*.- H6916

Looking for solid headphones in the region of £100-200
Hey cel, I have been trying to find alternatives to the 7520, and I have canceled my order for the 7520; if something goes wrong, I won't be able to fix it (I'm useless). I'm getting mixed messages from the guy at the Hi-Fi store, as he tells me that I would have to pay extra money if I want...- H6916

Would you recommend the Sennheiser Momentum's? They are a very comfortable fit according to my brother. Would the FiiO X3 go well with the Momentum's, or should I wait for the X5?- H6916

I am getting the FiiO X3 as a portable amp, but I may wait for the X5 to be released in the UK. Also, my brother is looking for the same types of headphones -- and unfortunately, the 7520 was the last one they had in stock, and they won't be stocking them again! What do you guys recommend? Shootout: 114 Portable Headphones Reviewed (Xiaomi Mi Headphones added 04/21/2015)
Thanks for the reply. I am glad to say I have found some really good headphones -- the MDR-7520! The best I've heard, since the other headphones, namely the Focal Spirit Classic, in the showroom were lacking in bass and clarity.- H6916

Well he (the manager) told me to get an amp and he would take off £50. Not sure what I should do to be honest. He is offering me the Beyerdynamic A200p for £150. What do you think?- H6916

I finally got to try out the KEF M500! They are not as great as I thought they would be; the bass and soundstage was lacking for a £250 pound headphones. I need something that has a good soundstage to keep me engaged. Again, I'm not going to be overly critical about the sound, but I want...- H6916

Again, thanks for the suggestions guys. I am still looking for the best headphones that will be suitable for my preferences (stated earlier in the thread). I am now looking at the Momentums, Sony MDR-7520 and the KEF M500. The MDR-7520 are scarce, but luckily I have found them at my local...- H6916

cel4145 gave the best response. The SoundMAGIC HP100 are known to be analytical -- therefore, they are not warm. But with the Digizoid ZO 2, it is definitely worth listening to as the article states.Okay, I know what to do know (I think) ; anymore suggestions would be appreciated. But thanks...- H6916

Would I be able to drive the AKG K545 with a Sansa Clip? I keep changing my mind every so often, and I hope purchase both of these products. The HP50's are exquisite, but I don't see it beating the K545 in terms of sound quality; as I want headphones where the bass is tight, midrange is...- H6916

I might just get the Fidelio X1 for home use; and for traveling, I might need to look in to that a bit more. But for me, the Fidelio X1 is immensely popular in my local Hi-Fi because they are going for £180.- H6916

Thanks for the suggestions. I am currently looking at the AKG 545 which has a lot of good reviews.
