True, the good thing about it was that you know the exact price of what you are paying without any surprises. But from what I've read in their annoucement is that from next year they will also experiment an another method, a pre-paid vat to EU countries trying to keep prices as current EU...

    Sony MDR-1AM2 - Impressions Thread

No problem! If you want a portable can that you want to use around the house than yeah you should also consider the Sennheiser HD569. But if you want headphones to use outside on the go then in my opinion the Sonys are the better choice.

    Sony MDR-1AM2 - Impressions Thread

I don't know about the Sennheiser HD569 but I know that the Sonys are very easy to drive and I consider them a fun set of cans to listen to on the go. I don't know where you are from, but for example you can get them at around 140 euros from Amazon Italy warehouse in "Like new" condition...

    Sony MDR-1AM2 - Impressions Thread

The Sony Mdr-1A were quite comfortable actually, just wished the pads were a bit bigger(a problem only for those who have big ears) and sometimes I did feel that my ears were a bit soar from touching the inside of the cups but that rarely happened, maybe after very long sessions. I've read that...

    Sony MDR-1AM2 - Impressions Thread

I don't have these headphones so I can't help you much, but most of your questions have been answered in the previous pages in this thread. From what I recall, yes the pads are replaceable and you might have a slight problem if you have big ears like me (I had the mdr-1a). Some said that the...

Yeah me too, that's why I've never had a pair of wireless headphones but I can see why someone would choose one for even better portability.

Yes the Beoplay H6 is a wired headphones. I've never had wireless headphones but I suppose they can be more comfortable while moving around for portable headphones

    Sony MDR-1AM2 - Impressions Thread

If they do sound similar then I might just stick with the Beoplay H6, I actually got them on sale from amazon for 169 euros so that's a good price I suppose. I really liked the 1As, they served me well as portable headphones, only thing I wished they had tighter bass and a bit bigger earpads...

    Sony MDR-1AM2 - Impressions Thread

Do you have the Beoplay H6? if so how do they compare with these? what is your personal preference? I had the 1As and lost them so instead of getting a new pair I said I'd wait for the new ones but in the meantime I got a pair of Beoplay H6 2nd gen from amazon which means it's either the 1AM2...
