I’m really enjoying it so far on my Mjolnir 3! It would probably run well off the Jot since can put out ample power. I tried the CC on my Mojo and even that runs it well enough. All these CC pics are making me excited for the upcoming release! I'm curious what people are amping their CCs with? My best amp is a Stratus, and it's got a lot of power for dynamics, but not sure if it can get the most out of planars. I don't have any high end solid state amps currently, the best being my Jot 2.

I'm burning in the loaner CC on the V281 reissue/LE. They're burning in together; the Reissue came straight from the box.All these CC pics are making me excited for the upcoming release! No surprise: the Reissue is a terrific amp for the CC (just as the OG V281 is amazing for the Caldera Open).

I'm glad the V281 reissue finally showed up for people who pre-ordered them, but I admit I was enjoying the increasingly exasperated emails Arthur had been sending about the delays.I'm burning in the loaner CC on the V281 reissue/LE

You're not the first to ask me this. Answer is it's way too early for me to comment: the Reissue is burning in elsewhere in the house with a different DAC & computer than the OG is currently connected to.I know, it is pre-burn in with the new V281, but have you noticed any differences versus the og?
The real answer will come when the Reissue is fully burned in (early next week) and I find time to install it in my main system alongside the OG (both getting signal from the same DAC, which has dual RCA outputs; and using the same interconnects). That will be the real test.

I hope it's OK to ask, but is it expected that the price will match that of the current Caldera? Thanks.

I'll be following this as well. Stellaris is my favorite amp, but I might end up using the solid state Benchmark HPA4 with the CC. It will be interesting to see how they compare.

Jot 2 will work, just make sure the DAC is up to par.All these CC pics are making me excited for the upcoming release! I'm curious what people are amping their CCs with? Caldera Open pairs amazing with the upcoming ZMF Aegis (I have the DIY version). I'm assuming that the Caldera Closed would pair the same.
Am really tempted to pickup the Violectric V281 reissue though. Heard it at CanJam and really like what I heard.

oh, yeah!Caldera Open pairs amazing with the upcoming ZMF Aegis
I’ll be running mine off of the Ferrum Oor/Hypsos—I find the Caldera (Open) love current—and also the Cayin HA-6A, which does a credible job with the CO.All these CC pics are making me excited for the upcoming release! I am running my CC off of Bliss with Serene pre and off of Oor/Hypsos with Khozmo passive pre. Both are using a May DAC.
Many hours of burn in and 6 hours of listening since yesterday. The CC has the Caldera Open lineage and the ZMF house sound. I am very happy about those two things. But the CC has its own magic that I sure am enjoying. Over the next couple weeks, I hope to be able to articulate that uniqueness!
