Hi all,

I've been using the PK3 with my new iAudio 7 and I'm absolutely loving the sound. In fact, I like it so much that I haven't touched my GS1000 or Taket H2 for 2 weeks. With some EQing, the PK3 produces simply awesome bass with the i7. I also love the soundstage, to my ears it's better (and larger) than any full sized can I've heard.

So now I'm thinking of upgrading to the PK1. So a couple of questions:

1. Do the PK1 go noticably deeper than the PK3?
2. Can the iAudio 7 drive the PK1 to a loud enough volume? I usually use them when I'm cycling, so the volume is around 25/40 with the PK3. I'm not willing to carry around an extra amp.

I realise the PK2 are better suited for portable, but I've read they don't have as deep or as impactful bass as the PK3.

Thanks in advance

I have the pk1 with the Zune. You'd probably want an amp to get the best sound out of the pk1. Volume is not a problem, they get plenty loud, but the sound quality is lacking. Quick impressions are bloated bass, thin midrange and over all cold/flat sound.
