Speaking only of gear I own-

1: Mapletree Ear+HD with Senn650/Equinox
2: PPA with the same Senns
Favorite budget rig:
3: Millett Hybrid with HF-1

1 and 2 are nearly a tie, it depends on what music I am listening to. As for #3, it sounds amazingly good, and there is not much money tied up in it at all.

RSA Raptor / HD600 (Moon SD / BD)
Wheatfield HA-2 / HD600 (Moon SD / BD)

Wheatfield HA-1 / HD600 (Moon SD)
Wheatfield HA-4 / HD600 (Moon BD)

M³ / HD600 (Moon BD)
Millett Hybrid / HD600 (Moon SD)

This set of groupings notes I slightly prefer the silver cables on the tube amps (ceteris paribus on tubes - a WAY deeper subject) and copper on SS.

Fair to say I'm strongly biased to Senn, Millett and Moon sound signatures.

Sure do! I think everyone entering in the hobby should have this combo! Or even if you have a monster home rig, get something like this as a portable combo!
