I am not a big fan of the Yankees but i am happy for Matsui. His performance in that game was astonishing, but i wished the Phillies would have brought it to game 7. Such a loss.

The main problem I have is that both the fans and the organization act as though they are entitled to world series and wins because they spend a lot of money. Small market and mid market teams can and do compete, though of course money is an advantage.

give them(new york) credit though, when they want it, they go get it, and got it. lucky, the rangers owner's doesn't "want" another stanley cup. or they'll simply get it like in 94, remember the new york oilers, i mean rangers. now let see who the knicks will get in this coming summer.
