I currently use xonar essence stx straight out of hd 650 and it sounds great. This is my first set up and I'm pleased. But I am sure there is more room for improvement. What else should I buy to make my hd 650's really shine?

Do you know what kind I should buy and how to connect them up? I've never purchased an amp before. I know that the higher you pay the better the quality is. But I want to know what's the best amp that I can get that will work best for hd 650 in conjuction with xonar essence stx card. My budget for an amp can be about....500?
