Just got the H3's and, honestly, think they're pretty damn good. The bass is EXACTLY what I've been looking for but the mids and highs, while good, leave me a bit...wanting. Wanting a little more forward mids and a little more louder highs.
 
Does anyone have anything to say about the Z5's in comparison?

I don't know if you are still contemplating, but the Z5 are def better than the H3. Much better extended treble and soundstage and imaging. Bass is tighter and not as bloated. I am still burning mine in however. To me, side by side I could heard a big difference.

I have the Z5 (my fav iem) , A3, and 90EX. I want to buy the H3.
