X-Can review in Stereophile

There is a X-Can review in Stereophile's December issue in Sam's Section. Looks like more headphone related coverage

Hey, anyone know when that letter will be in? Is it january(that rings a bell. . .)

What did it say about the X-CAN ? I forgot to renew my subscription, and so I guess this was it. Figures, they finally have a review of something that does not cost $20000> and my bloody subscription expires. I guess I'll just have to pay the $7.95 at the newstand .

Peter;
Stereophile gave the X Can the usual good review “sounds good….tube warmth” Yada Yada.
However they did say a new amp was in the making to replace the X-Can!

They've reviewed the X-Can before. This is a rehash for the most part. When it comes to headphone amps they're very hodge podge. The Cary SET amp sounds good as does the Orpheus, but then everything else is pretty much the same....
