This one more melodic and simple.

From the oft mentioned group Tinariwen and then from Junior K. I love this guitar tone and style here.
Vinicius Cantuaria with added bonus:
Brazilian singer, songwriter and guitarist who moved to NYC in the 1990s.
Brule, wonderful to see in concert live, is meaningful energy. Sorry about the sound quality. Music starts around 2:30.
Far Star Gilad Hekselman
From Edition Records, a British Jazz Record Label, this album is adventurous in it's variety but held together by a contemplative reassuring guitar style. Most tracks are simple melodies with patient languid development. Tracks 2 and 5 contrast with more energy and a fusion type phrasing that reaches back how many decades? The seventh track seems to ask,"Where do I belong?" however the guitar anchors the song to the rest of the album.
This is not straight classical jazz, so Far Star may have a limited appeal. However the fusion feel hopefully relates to this thread's topic. The guitar tone is lovely IMHO.
How about Des Filles
Laura Cahen
Light angelic type voice with some varied accompaniment including electronic. IMHO best with warming of female voice type headphones when she raises her vocal dynamics. French feel with French as language. Kind of a pop feel also, but her vocal style differs from today's common affected emphasis. Also sounds light-hearted and wistful.
This album opens up the French label Pics Le Label that promotes world indie music. On Quboz clicking on the label reveals their catalog.
Sonho Real Flavia Coelho
A little fuller voice but sounds affected youthfully at times. More up-beat with good beat.
Tangerine Moon Wishes
Sandra Nkaké
Here is a rich smooth voice, it seems that the producer added a little grain to her voice. More serious material and somewhat R&B. The recording is on Jazz Village label but she is also on Pias. Some of the accompaniment is beautiful and melodic.
Conclusion: This is an interesting niche to explore that provides a little adventure but won't be enjoyable for everyone. It is somewhat worldly but rooted in familiar styles and there is a distinctly European orientation within the label Pias.

Cibelle
Brazilian singer ranging from Samba to Electronic.
Deixa is a track that I use to evaluate equipment, using the coin drop at the beginning tells me about tonality in this band. This recording has the coin drop wrong from the start however.
