I've read through the setup guides and setup my card for analog out. Set my av710 to hires mode and kernel streaming for foobar's output. I also have onboard audio which I enabled and set as the default sound device.

When I play something in Media Player Classic (which is set to system default output and I used the channel maps to use rear out speakers) the sound still cuts out in foobar which is set to use Envy24.

I noticed some people suggested this as a workaround but I was wondering if I did something wrong.

You can save yourself some trouble and obtain unresampled 44.1 kHz output if you turn off the high-res/high-sampling mode and use plain 2 channel mode with digital out (in "PCM only" mode) enabled and automatic sample rate selection selected instead. I faintly remember something about the sound cutout problem only occurring in high-sampling mode, but not sure.
