I've read that a super clock is superior to a word clock, but I don't know what they really do for sound quality. Can anyone explain it to me in a through way? Also, would it provide superior digital output using s/pdif from a sound card?
Is there that much difference between sound cards with s/pdif digital output for bit perfect output? Do you need a clock for better sound quality? I use the Auzentech X-meridian's Digital Output only, but I plan on replacing it with another sound card with digital output, is there such thing as a superior digital output?
